23 Kicked Up A Devil of a Row was learned from a field recording of Lewis Co. KY fiddler Charley Kinney, who can be heard playing it on Rounder CD 11599, an old time music anthology Kerry assembled in honor of Rounder’s 30th anniversary as a record label. This also is the title track of Hart & Blech’s first CD on the Swing Cat label and available from each band member, as is their second CD, Build Me a Boat, on Voyager.

This rendition of Virgil Anderson's "Jenny Hang the Kettle On" is wonderful. It perfectly grabs the simplistic beauty of Virgil's version, but has such clarity. Amazing album! Payton Scott

Great choice of music, expertly played and sung. Nicely produced. I hope to see The Onlies live, asap. This is an album I listen to over and over. Karamogo

Ken Landreth is one of my favorite banjo players of all time. This whole album is amazing! Makes me miss those hot sunny days in the Mt. Airy flatlands watching these guys shred. altacke
